Cyclists,
I just got a call from the City Council office. TOMORROW afternoon Councillers Benton and Harris will be at Roy's Crash site to issue a Press Release concerning the 2009 Roy Sekreta Memorial Ride "Ride to Save Lives" (on Saturday) and the petition asking the Albuquerque City Council for improvements to bicycle safety in Albuquerque.
Roy's widow has asked that BikeABQ attend.
It was postponed from today to allow local TV, Radio, Newspaper, and Media to attend.
It will likely be early afternoon on Friday March 6th and will be at Comanche & Paseo del Nordeste Trail along the North Diversion Channel. ( 1:30 ? 2:00 PM?)
Please be on standby to attend with your bicycles and helmets. The exact time will be sent as soon as it's set.
Thank you
Craig Degenhardt
President BikeABQ
