You'll probably have the best luck with the "virtual" module, setting base
to "/var/dovecot".
I was working on a "Dovecot authentication/userdb" module and then real life
intruded. But presumably this module, when finished, would just plug in to
whatever you've already got set up. So if you can't get things to work, you
should pester me to finish off that module. :)
